Lenders, such as backs, supply information on their account holders. When you
want credit, the lender draws information from your credit file.
Important: You have a right to see you're creditable for a loan, particularly
if you have been denied credit because of its contents. Advice: Contact the
credit bureau within 30 days after your credit application has been denied.
The bureau must tell you the contents of your file at no cost to you. After
30 days the fee is $3 to $5.
For the location of your credit bureau, ask your bank which one it uses, or
check the telephone directory.
